AMD Quad-Core A6-3420M

Need quad-core processor for your notebook? here is AMD quad-core A6-3420M series, it has comes with pure 4 cores, 1.5GHz of clock speed and also powered by AMD APU technology. AMD A6-3420M is not fastest processors from AMD APU series, but the quad-core label on this processor has make it looked so powerful for notebook, you can run it for working with your software or also for playing some PC games, don't worry about gaming performance because the AMD quad-core A6-3420M has been equipped with AMD HD 6520G on-board graphics card and it's not bad.

AMD Trinity Release Date

This is one of 2010 mobile notebook line-up from AMD, it's AMD Phenom II X4 N970 series, born from AMD Quad-Cores processor line-up, Phenom II X4 970 has 2.2 GHz of default clock speed, 2MB of L2 memory cache and 35W of power consumption. AMD N970 performance is almost the same with AMD Athlon II X3 445, the Phenom II X4 N970 has 2,741 points of CPU MArk benchmark test while the X3 445 can reach 2,741 points (based from : cpubenchmark.net), it's still good quad-cores processors for mobile notebook edition.

AMD FX-4100 - Zambezi with 3.6GHz

AMD FX-4100 is one of the AMD FX Bulldozer variants that comes with 3.6Ghz of clock speed but FX-4100 is smallest package from FX series, AMD FX-4100 Zambezi is the next gen of AMD processor and it's has quad core processor type, so is it better than previous AMD Phenom II family? well let see together. As I know, AMD FX 4100 is not the premium class of AMD FX series with smallest L2 cache memory but fast enough of clock speed, while another AMD FX comes with 6 core and 8 cores, the AMD FX 4100 just equipped with only 4 cores / quad cores series.

AMD A6-3400M APU Series : A6-3420M, A6-3410MX, and A6-3430MX

A lot of gamers and 3D designer looking for dual quad core processor motherboard, yeah I know that they need more than only one quad core processor. Truly, it's very hard to find the desktop motherboard that supported dual quad core processor such as for Intel i7 processor, also for AMD AM3, and I have written about this in my older processor here : dual processor motherboard AM3. So the question is "is there any dual quad core processor motherboard in the market?" the answer is yes there is available, but not for AM3 dekstop or also for Intel i7 or in the same class, there only available for a few type such as for Intel Xeon quad core processor or AMD Opteron Quad Core.
