Minimum Requirements for 3DS Max 2012

Dual core, quad core, six core or 8 core processors which it will meet the minimum requirements for 3DS Max 2012? here is the important/main specs of minimum requirements for 2012 3ds Max edition, it's has taken from autodesk official website. Basically, if you have an Intel Pentium 4 1.4 GHz or AMD processor which it still in the same class, you can run 3DS Max 2012 well, but I thing you need quad-core processor for minimum system and for better performance. There is 2 version of requirements, 32bit version and also 64bit version, so you have to carefully to read it. Here we go.

Minimum Requirements for 3DS Max 2012 - 32bit edition
Operating system: Windows 7 Professional, Vista Business operating system (SP2 or higher), XP Professional (SP3 or higher).

- Pentium® 4 1.4 GHz or equivalent AMD processor with SSE2 technology
- 2 GB RAM (4 GB recommended)
- 2 GB swap space (4 GB recommended)
- 3 GB free hard drive space
- Direct3D 10, Direct3D 9
- OpenGL-capable graphics card (256 MB or higher video card memory, 1 GB or higher recommended)

Minimum Requirements for 3DS Max 2012 - 64bit edition
Operating system: Windows 7 Professional x64, Vista Business x64 (SP2 or higher), or XP Professional x64 (SP3 or higher)

-Intel 64 or AMD64 processor with SSE2 technology
- 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended)
- 4 GB swap space (8 GB recommended)
- 3 GB free hard drive space
- Direct3D 10, Direct3D 9
- OpenGL-capable graphics card (256 MB or higher video card memory, 1 GB recommended)

As you can see, the cheap processors likes Intel i3 2100, Pentium G-series, AMD Athlon II X4, X3, even X2 250 (dual core) or Llano can run the 3DS Max 2012 software, so don't worry about the minimum requirements for 3DS Max 2012 edition, it's light for daily 3D design.
